What is South Indian filter coffee?

South Indian filter coffee is a traditional Indian coffee preparation made by brewing roasted and ground coffee through a South Indian metal coffee filter. The resulting concentrated coffee decoction is traditionally combined with hot milk and sugar.

What is the difference between Native 80 and Native 70?

TAKA Native 80 contains 80% coffee and 20% chicory, while Native 70 contains 70% coffee and 30% chicory.

Does TAKA Native 100 contain chicory?

No. TAKA Native 100 is 100% Arabica coffee and contains no chicory.

Is TAKA coffee instant coffee?

No. TAKA's roasted and ground coffee is not instant coffee. It needs to be brewed using an appropriate brewing method.

What is black coffee?

Black coffee is coffee enjoyed without milk. It can be prepared using different brewing methods including a South Indian filter, French press, AeroPress, pour-over or drip coffee maker.

Which TAKA coffee is best for black coffee?

Can I make black coffee without an espresso machine?

Is coffee powder the same as instant coffee?

No. In India, "coffee powder" commonly refers to ground coffee, but roasted and ground coffee and instant coffee are different products. Ground coffee must be brewed, while instant coffee is soluble.
